Hillcrest was established in 2012. It is a very specially developed facility with person specific adaptations to meet individual requirements. It is an extensive detached house set in a private location with spacious gardens and will provide a home for 7 men and women with profound learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder.
Hillcrest is situated in the village of Welwyn, an idyllic rural setting that offers a most suitable environment for people with autistic spectrum conditions. There is easy access to the nearby towns of Hitchin, Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City which provides comprehensive shopping and recreational facilities, together with good public transport including mainline railway stations.
